Welcome back to another FirstStarFootballReport.com podcast, sponsored by First Star Logistics
In this episode, we’ll talk about coaching changes at the college and prep level as Urban Meyer will step away from the Buckeyes following the Rose Bowl. We also talk high school coaching changes as many were surprised when Colerain head coach Tom Bolden announced he was leaving the Cardinals program for another Greater Miami Valley Conference team, Lakota West. Also in the GMC, Hamilton announced one of their own, Nate Mahon, who led Little Miami to a 9-3 record this past season as their new head coach.
We’re also excited about our two special guests as Syosset (New York) high school senior offensive lineman, Liam Broogy, who recently gave Fordham his verbal pledge, talks about his life as a child actor. Broogy, a 6-foot-4, 265-pound lineman, may be known for his toughness on the field and as a state wrestling finalist and rugby player, but his experience on the small and big screen gave him some great opportunities to meet some special people.
Also joining the podcast is former Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne and Ohio State Buckeye, Donnie Evege who talks about the coaching change with the Buckeyes, the win over Michigan, and how life changes when football ends. If you have a young person who is looking to play sports at the college level, make sure to listen as Donnie opens up about overcoming adversity, athletic depression when the cheers turn to silence and much more. He’ll also talk about what he’s doing today.
So we hope you enjoy our latest podcast.
