Another staff member of University of Cincinnati head coach Luke Fickell’s staff has left the program for a fulltime coaching position.
Mike Hartline has spent the past two seasons as the offensive quality control coach and assistant quarterbacks’ coach at the University of Cincinnati.
Now, the Canton, Ohio native and former University of Kentucky quarterback will be the offensive coordinator for Ohio Dominican head coach Kelly Cummings.
Following a standout prep career at GlenOak High School, Hartline singed with the University of Kentucky in the 2006 recruiting class.
While at UK, Hartline would win the starting job in his third season and go on to earn All-SEC honors in 2010.
Following his college career, Hartline spent time in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts and New England Patriots before moving into a coaching career. Prior to coming to Cincinnati, Hartline spent two seasons at Ohio State under Urban Meyer where he worked with Cardale Jones, JT Barrett, Dwayne Haskins and Joey Burrow before following Luke Fickell to the Bearcats.
Hartline joins Austen Bujnoch at Ohio Dominican as Cummings continues to make strong hires to replenish members of his staff, he lost in the past few weeks.
