Since turning in an MVP performance at the Blockers O-Line Academy Big Man Camp, Jalen Bowens has started to see several college programs show interest. Bowens talked about a couple of recent visits made and who else he’s been in contact with.

Over the years Reynoldsburg (Ohio) High School has continued to produce college football talent.

Class of 2020 offensive lineman Jalen Bowens looks like the next to come out of the program.

The saying don’t judge a book by it’s cover can be used when talking about Reynoldsburg offensive lineman Jalen Bowens. At 6-foot-0, 275-pounds, Bowens may lack the height college coaches look for, but has some unique talents as a center / guard prospect.

Coming off two on campus visits, Bowens talked about each.

“I’ve been to Ohio University and Akron so far,” said Bowens. In fact, I’ve visited Ohio twice. I’m also hearing from Toledo, Ohio Dominican and Cincinnati Christian.”

As for other visits, Bowens is looking to hit a few more this spring.

“I’ve been talking with Coach (Tyler) Haines, the head coach at Urbana,” he continued. “He wants to get me to campus and to camp this summer. I’m also looking to visit Ohio Dominican and Cincinnati Christian. Toledo is having a Friday Night Lights event and I’m looking to visit them as well.”
