After being away from coaching the past four seasons, Lance Schneider will return to the sidelines at Miamisburg High School.
The Vikings will welcome Schneider, who knows all about the history of the programs as his grandfather, Hank Schneider and father, Mike also coached at the school.
Schneider brings a proven track record as one of the more successful head coaches in Ohio during his time at Northmont High School. After taking over one of the worst programs in Ohio, Schneider turned the program into a consistent winner earning Greater Western Ohio Conference, Coach of the Year honors eight times to go with eight conference championships and playoff appearances.
During his time in Clayton, Schneider also showed the ability to help get his players to the college level with 40 Division One scholarship players, including three players who went on to play in the NFL.
During his 16 years as a head coach, Schneider posted a 107-63 record using many of the same offensive schemes he learned from his father.
The Schneider family has been part of high school sports for 70 years with both his father and grandfather being members of the OHSFCA Hall of Fame.
