There is no mistaking Cincinnati (Ohio) Princeton head football coach Mike Daniels understands the tradition at the Greater Miami Conference program.

A former Vikings standout, Daniels took on the task of bringing the once power program back to the success many expect from the program.

Following his career at Princeton that saw him named to the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013, Daniels headed to the University of Cincinnati where he played for Rick Minter, Mark Dantonio and Brian Kelly.

After using his eligibility Daniels took to coaching as a graduate assistant before joining Jeff Quinn at the University of Buffalo. Daniels has made several coaching stops prior to coming home and expectations are high as he returns a talent group of high-level college prospects like Jaheim Thomas and Darrion Henry along with several younger players getting attention.

Thursday night, a large group of college coaches from coast-to-coast watched the talented Vikings go through an on-field workout seeing just how much talent is available this fall.

First Star Football Report spoke with Daniels in this exclusive one-on-one interview sponsored by First Star Logistics.
