Last season may not have gone as planned for Cincinnati (Ohio) La Salle linebacker Luke Thiemann and his teammates. With a 4-5 record during the season and 0-3 in Greater Catholic League play, players and coaches know they didn’t reach the standard expected out of one of the top programs in Ohio.

Thiemann and his teammates will look to turn things around in 2019 as they return several key players.

As one of the more undervalued prospects in Southwest Ohio, Thiemann added his first scholarship offer from Colegate following the programs college workout on Thursday with several other programs showing interest.

With our interview happening before his offer. We caught up with Thiemann about his thoughts on his first offer.

“It was very exciting for both me and my family,” said Thiemann. “I’m looking forward to visiting their campus in the future.”

First Star Football Report spoke with Thiemann in this exclusive First Star Logistics sponsored video.
