Interest continues to rise for West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West standout linebacker Daved Jones.

Recently, Jones added Michigan State and Akron to a growing offer list that includes Cincinnati, Louisville, Iowa State, Nebraska, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, Pittsburgh and Kentucky.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound Jones was impressive Wednesday in front of the many college coaches in attendance at the Firebirds combine day and spoke with First Star Football Report about his offer from the Spartans and why the hometown Bearcats are a program to watch in the race to sign Jones.

Jones also talks about another Big Ten program and the dream offer he’d like to land.
