MATTHEW DEVINE RECEIVES FIRST STAR LOGISTICS PLAYER OF THE WEEK AWARD

Friday night FirstStarFootballReport.com was in attendance for first-round playoff action as Cincinnati St. Xavier hosted Mason.

The Bombers started slow before turning up the heat against the Comets and advancing with a 48-20 win.

Junior linebacker Matthew Devine led the Bombers defensive attack with 11 total tackles and one sack in the win.

Following Week One of the season, Devine was voted by fans as the First Star Logistics Defensive and Overall Player of the Week.

After the game FirstStarFootballReport.com awarded Devine his special award with Bombers head coach Steve Specht and some of his teammates on hand for the presentation.

Coach Specht also spoke about Devine as a player this season.
