In this First Star Logistics Flashback we present a video of former Cincinnati St. Xavier running back Ben Glines as he talked about the game of football and more.
During his career Glines played a key role in the Bombers offense especially during his senior season where he rushed for 1,224 yards with 16 touchdowns while also adding 247 receiving yards and two scores during a 10-4 season.
At St. Xavier, Glines earned AP All-Ohio DI honorable mention as a senior while also earning first-team All-Greater Catholic League and All-District honors and was also a member of the US Under-19 National Team that defeated Canada, 35-0, in the International Bowl where he showed his he was more than a running back as he started the game at wide receiver and caught a touchdown in the game.
Glines would earn offers from Mid-American Conference programs along with Boston College.
In the spring of his junior year Glines gave the Eagles his verbal pledge to be part of the 2015 recruiting class.
During his college career Glines would play in 50 games and post rushing and receiving stats throughout his career.
