Huber Heights (Ohio) Wayne junior wide receiver Bryan Kinley came into Friday nights rivalry game against Centerville with three career receptions and no touchdowns. While Kinley only added one reception to his totals, he added his first career touchdown reception and a catch that he’ll remember for the rest of his life.
The Warriors trailed 23-21 and looking at 90+ yards if they wanted to win the game. During the drive Kinley dropped a key pass and received the wrath of Warriors head coach Roosevelt Mukes.
However, Mukes knows if you have confidence in your receivers you have to stick with them.
With the ball on the 35 yard line and 21-seconds left in the game, Kinley busted through a jam, streaked towards the end zone where he looked up and made the game winning catch leaving 14 seconds on the clock and the Warriors ahead 28-23 following the extra point.
After the game First Star Football Report spoke with Kinley in this special First Star Logistics sponsored video.
