Michael Bittner Headed to Tennessee

Under the radar quarterback Michael Bittner has decided on his academic and athletic future as he’ll continue his pursuits at the University of Tennessee.

Bittner, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound quarterback out of Cincinnati (Ohio) Elder, enjoyed a great senior year passing for 2,331 yards and 16 touchdowns while also rushing for 631 yards and 11 scores.

After getting limited reps the first five weeks of his junior year, Bittner came on strong helping the Panthers to big wins over rival Moeller and always tough Winton Woods combining for 459 yards on 36-of-49 passing with five touchdowns and zero interceptions.

The Panthers went 6-4 this past season and looked like a strong playoff contender with an opening round 35-0 win over Moeller. However, early in a second-round game against Lakota East, Bittner went down with an injury and while the Panthers advanced, Bittner missed the following week against Colerain.
