Mitch Bolden Excited About the Future

West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West sophomore quarterback Mitch Bolden grew up watching teams win Greater Miami Conference Championships. Those teams just happened to be at Colerain High School. Now, Bolden is in his second season as a Firebird and leading an offense many never thought they’d see from a Tom Bolden coached team with a more balanced attack throwing and running the ball.

Friday night, Bolden led the Firebirds to their first outright GMC title with an impressive 21-0 win over Mason to close out the shortened 2020 regular season.

With the playoffs up next, Bolden is not only happy to be part of school history now, he’s excited about the future of the program long term.

After the game, First Star Football Report spoke One-on-One with Bolden about the win and more in this exclusive interview presented by First Star Logistics.
