Moeller HC Doug Rosfeld Headed to Bengals

If you’re looking for someone to represent Cincinnati, the photo of Doug Rosfeld, the newest hire by new Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor would work.

Rosfeld, who is leaving his post as head coach at Moeller High School, is a 1997 graduate of the school before taking his talents to the University of Cincinnati where he was an All-Conference-USA performer (1999 and 2000).

Over the years, Rosfeld worked as a teacher and assistant coach at Moeller, while also working many Bearcats summer camps.

In 2015, Tommy Tuberville hired Rosfeld as the Bearcats director of player development. A position he held until being named the head coach at Moeller in December of 2017.

This past season, Rosfeld guided the Crusaders to the Greater Catholic League South Division title, the programs first outright title since 2013 and a spot in the OHSAA playoffs. In the process, he was named the league’s coach of the year.

Rosfeld and Taylor are no strangers having worked together for one season (2016) at Cincinnati when Taylor was the Bearcats offensive coordinator.

It is believed Rosfeld will be assistant to the head coach in his role with the Bengals.

First Star Football Report is excited to see Rosfeld in his new role with the Bengals as we’ve watched his career develop over the years.

Rosfeld is married and his wife Abbie and he have six children.
