NATIONS TOP KICKER PLEDGES OHIO STATE

The top kicker in the country ended his recruitment with a pledge to Ohio State.

Cincinnati (Ohio) La Salle kicker Jake Seibert had three schools standing out the last time First Star Football Report in late May. With hopes of ending his recruitment before June ended, Seibert didn’t have to wait too long by giving Ohio State head coach Ryan Day his verbal pledge.

Seibert is ranked a Five-Star prospect by Game Winner Kicking and First Star Football Report was done to UCLA, Michigan State and the Buckeyes before pulling the trigger for the home state school.

The Buckeyes have enjoyed success from the Cincinnati school out of the Greater Catholic League with current kicker Drue Chrisman and in the past wide receiver DeVier Posey.
