Official Release: Playoffs Week One First Star Logistics Player of the Week

Following the first week of the 2020 Ohio high school football playoffs, First Star Football Report released several names for consideration for First Star Logistics Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

With all votes counted, this is the official release on who you voted as Playoffs Week One First Star Logistics Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

The player who earned the most overall votes is also named the First Star Logistics Player of the Week.

The senior running back carried eight times for 120 yards and two touchdowns while also adding a 50-yard touchdown reception in the Vikings playoff win over Oak Hills. Vikings head coach Mike Daniels speaks highly about the work Turner has done to improve his game. Turner received 952 votes earning First Star Logistics Offensive Player of the Week honors along with the most overall votes earning Playoffs Week One First Star Logistics Player of the Week.

The senior posted 14 total tackles (8 solos) in a 31-28 playoff win over Northwest. This season, Frederick Jr has a team-leading 80 tackles. Frederick Jr received 351 votes earning Playoffs Week One First Star Logistics Defensive Player of the Week.
