Official Release: Week Five First Star Logistics Player of the Week

Following the fifth week of the 2020 Ohio high school football season, First Star Football Report released several names for consideration for First Star Logistics Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

With all votes counted, this is the official release on who you voted as Week Five First Star Logistics Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week.

The player who earned the most overall votes is also named the First Star Logistics Player of the Week.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
TOTAL VOTES: 1,051

CARSON VANHOOSE – CLINTON-MASSIE HIGH SCHOOL – 602 VOTES

The junior running back had his best game of the season in Week Five with 266 yards rushing and six touchdowns in a 49-41 win over New Richmond. Vanhoose received 602  total votes earning First Star Logistics Offensive Player of the Week honors.

JEREMY HOLLOWAY – STEBBINS HIGH SCHOOL – 1,085 VOTES

The senior posted 14 total tackles (4 solos) in a 29-21 win over Fairborn giving the school the MVL Valley title, the first championship for the school since 1973. Holloway received 1,085 votes earning Defensive Player of the Week along with the most overall votes earning Week Five First Star Logistics Player of the Week.
