Friday night proved another challenge for Hamilton (Ohio) Badin and senior defensive lineman Jayden Carter against Kettering (Ohio) Alter.
Carter and his teammates knocked off the Knights twice last season and in convincing fashion. However, they knew Friday night was not going to find a team ready to give them their second win of the season.
Carter, a 6-foot-2, 200-pound prospect knew he’d be tested on the majority of his reps against top junior prospect Derrick Shepard Jr., who already holds a handful of BCS scholarship offers. Carter would post four tackles, force a fumble and made a third down tackle to stop a Knights drive late in the game.
First Star Football Report spoke with Carter after the game.
