Talking with Cincinnati (Ohio) Wyoming head coach Aaron Hancock about the success of the Cowboys football program, he quickly points out success is part of the tradition that started way before he took over the program.
Hancock, who has a senior class that has gone 40-0 in regular season play and is currently on a 25 game winning streak that included a state championship last season and a 41 game regular season winning streak with six out of the last seven seasons ending with the Cowboys being crowned Cincinnati Hills League champions.
Hancock knew Friday night was not going to be easy with rival Indian Hill looking to knock the Cowboys off their championship ways.
In the end, Wyoming held on to win 21-18 behind a career-high rushing night (303 rushing yards) for standout quarterback Evan Prater to go with three touchdowns.
