Edwards is not the norm when looking at linemen. The big question with Edwards has been his physical weight. However, you can't overlook the outstanding talent. There is room to reshape the body and once that is done Edwards will be an even better player. Great feet for a big man. On offense,Edwards can pull and get lateral with the best of them while also getting his shoulders squared. Does a great job of getting inside hand placement. College coaches will love the fact Edwards likes to finish off blocks. While in high school he competes mostly with much smaller players, he should be able to adjust with players of the same size or taller using his surprising quickness and ability to get his pad level low. Recruited by some schools as a defensive lineman, Edwards shows the ability to stay low while keeping linemen off backers and making a play behind the line of scrimmage every once in awhile. *NOTE: Was recruited by Northwestern as a defensive lineman.
