Seven players made the First Star Logistics Defensive Player of the Week poll for Week Six for you to vote on. Games are starting to mean more as we head into the final weeks of the 2019 regular season and the following players came up big for their teams on defense.
Voting ends on Thursday at 6:00 p.m. and the player who receives the most overall votes between the defensive and offensive players of the week will earn the First Star Logistics Player of the Week for Week Six.

Juwaan Davis – Hughes
The senior defensive back posted six total tackles and a forced and recovered fumble to go with three interceptions in the Big Red 34-6 win over Hillcrest. Did we even mention he also rushed for 100 yards and touchdown on offense?
Jonathan Bruder – Centerville
The junior linebacker came up big with 10 solo tackles and 12 tackles total along with one sack in a big 27-21 Elks win over rival Wayne.
Daylon Morgan – Trotwood
The junior linebacker anchored the Rams defense with six solo tackles, 14 overall in a 28-23 win over Lebanon.
Luke Thiemann – La Salle
The senior linebacker posted nine solo tackles, 10 overall with a sack in a 41-20 win over Greater Catholic League rival Moeller.
Evan Schlensker – Hamilton Badin
The senior linebacker had an interception to go with eight solo tackles, 13 tackles overall in a big 42-7 win over Kettering Alter.
Jaheim Thomas – Princeton
One of the top prospects in the 2020 recruiting class already committed to The University of Cincinnati, Thomas posted nine total tackles (7 solo) with one sack in the Vikings 43-21 win over Middletown.
Dealo Mcintosh – Fairfield
The senior linebacker played his best game of the season posting 12 total tackles (10 solo) and one sack in a 20-14 win over Lakota East to keep the Indians perfect on the season and at the top of the Greater Miami Conference.
