Poll Closed: Week Three Playoffs First Star Logistics Offensive & Defensive Players of the Week

OFFENSE

Matthew Howard – Lakota West HS
The senior kicker hit three field goals, including a 51-yarder in the Firebirds 23-7 win over Colerain to advance and play St. Xavier for the Region 4 title.

Tyrek Spikes – Winton Woods HS
The junior running back rushed 19 times for 173-yards and two touchdowns in a 34-6 win over Edgewood to advance to the next round where they’ll play Kings.

Jackson Kuhn – Anderson HS
The senior quarterback helped Anderson advance in a 29-22 win over Piqua. Kuhn went 44-of-60 for 469 yards and two touchdowns with zero interceptions. He also rushed for 106-yards and two touchdowns in the win. Anderson will now play La Salle.

Branden McDonald – Alter HS
The senior running back enjoyed his best game of the season with 24 carries for 394-yards and six touchdowns in the Knights 42-0 win over Trotwood-Madison. Up next a rematch against Hamilton Badin.

Colton Trampler – Clinton-Massie HS
The junior running back carried 33 times for 196-yards and two touchdowns in a 56-20 win over Bethel-Tate to advance and play Waverly.

Charles Kellom – St Xavier HS
The junior showed off his versatility with 12 carries for 78 yards and two touchdowns and three receptions for 37 yards and two scores in the Bombers 56-28 win over Elder. Up next Lakota West with the Region 4 title on the line.

DEFENSE

Jayden Carter – Hamilton Badin HS
The senior defensive end posted three solo stops, a sack, and forced a fumble in a 35-14 win over Tippecanoe. The Rams will now play Alter in a Week Two rematch.

Zaak Morrell – Ross HS
The senior linebacker posted five tackles (3 solos), a sack, and forced a fumble in a 48-12 win over New Richmond. Up next is Bellbrook.

Joop Mitchell – Wyoming HS
The senior two-way standout posted seven tackles (6 solos) plus had an interception he returned 35-yards for a score in a 34-14 win over Graham. Up next is Valley View.

Ryan Hallau – Roger Bacon HS
The senior two-way standout posted 4.5 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and 1.5 sacks in a 41-19 win over Greenon. Up next is Versailles.

Seth Greene – Mariemont HS
The senior two-way standout had a big game on both sides of the ball. We recognize his play on defense where he posted three tackles (2 solos) to go with 3.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
